Hi Susan, my dial up connection box comes up several times during the
reading of posts, I just click cancel and after a few tries it goes away
never to be seen again. You don't have to go on line to read either plain or
HTML e.mail that I am aware of you just go on, get your messages, then like
I say, randomly the box appears. Just do what I do and it should be okay.

susan, your message did the same thing because you kept the original message
on the post to the list.
silvia explained it as part of the setting problem.
the settings should not be html. the settings in the options should be plain
text.
let's hope this gets worked out.
thanks - the suggestion that i read the post last makes no sense at all and
is a tad unfriendly - not intending to hurt anyone's feelings but intending
to get things worked out.

Mine, too, as do messages from Paul and Silvia and Michael Car-Jones. I
wonder what the common bug is. I can stop it from connecting, but sometimes
I have to cancel the Dial-Up Connection several times before it goes away
for good.
Any ideas from you computer gurus out there?

i don't understand the mechanics of the computer too well, but for some
reason your posts force my computer to connect up and go on line.
i don't know if anyone else is having this same problem - time on line costs
money.
